It retains native formula glyphs and structures, and integrates text translation, four in-app previews, local OCR and table processing into the same reading process; free Bing is available by default, and self-prepared DeepSeek and GLM API Keys are also supported. Provides a Windows installation package that includes a running environment without the need to install Python.

Paper Translation and Reading · PaperBridge is a paper translation and comparative reading tool that retains formula formatting. It is aimed at students and researchers who need to read English papers, course lectures and technical materials. The project is based on the open source PDFMathTranslate (PDF2ZH) for community enhancement, integrating translation, preview, comparison reading and export into the Windows desktop usage process. It supports image text recognition, table translation and four previews. It is free by default and can be connected to DeepSeek/GLM. Features The formula glyphs and structure of the native PDF are retained, and the page layout is processed in combination with text translation to facilitate subsequent reading and derivation. Switch between the four previews of original text, translated text, left and right comparison, and alternating comparison in the application. There is no need to download multiple versions separately before comparing. Integrate local OCR and table processing, covering part of the scan area, text in the picture, and table scenes, and complex processing is automatically selected by the program. By default, you can use the free Bing Translate that does not require an API Key, or you can fill in your own DeepSeek and GLM API Keys and choose translation services according to your needs.
